My name is Nour Hammami. I hold a Masters in Nutrition from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and I am a Licensed Dietitian certified by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health. My passion for learning about food and its interactions in the human body in health and disease is constantly growing. I am a strong believer in the idea that health is a human right and it is everyone’s right to know what is in the food they eat and make an informed choice whether or not to eat or drink it.
This is where I come in. This page will contain thoughts, information, recipes really anything that is human health related. I am also a huge fan of preventive and natural therapies and that will add a special touch to my page.
Nourish Body and Mind should make people realize that they have control. You have control over your weight, your body composition, but also (to a certain extent) your risk of diseases. Certain behaviors and food items are associated with higher risk of diseases. I will be posting these lifestyle factors and explain why they are detrimental to health to the best of my ability. As well as what are the beneficial behaviors and food items to maximize brain power, organ and body health and take the latest precautions against diseases.
I picture myself in the future old, happy and healthy and that is what I wish for all of You.
